Classes incorporate the Pilates Reformer, a magical and multi-use piece of equipment that works every inch of your body. Designed to strengthen your core to new levels, you’ll experience and use everything from “the chair” to stability balls, free weights to power circles.
Mat Pilates - Strength & Sports Conditioning
The usual suspects are included: planks, core work, and balance exercises. Though, don’t be surprised if your instructor introduces free weights, body bars, power/magic circles, stability balls, or resistance bands. Give your arms, legs, shoulders, butt, gut, and back a workout they’ve never seen before.
Metabolic Conditioning - H.I.I.T. to be Fit
Focused on principles of high-intensity interval training (H.I.I.T), these classes mix it up with cardio, balance, coordination, core, strength, jumps, cuts, and jives. Not for the faint of heart.
Hop in the saddle and experience a ridiculous variety of climbs and sprints. This cardio peak cycling workout delivers maximum results with minimum impact on your joints.
Cardio, strength training, and core work all rolled into one class. Fast and high-intensity sets will test your endurance, and kettlebells, resistance bands, body bars, free weights, jump ropes and stability (Swiss) balls will also make guest appearances from time to time.
Studio Yoga - Power & Flow
Focusing on powerful sequences of strength-building and breath-synchronized movements, our small class size allows not only literal space for your half moons but figurative space for individualized attention and correction from the instructor.
A NOTE ABOUT CLASS LEVELS
Before registering for classes, be sure to check out the level of the class and the basic exercises involved. We have offerings for both the beginner and the seasoned athlete (and everything in between). Here’s a guide to help you figure out which class and level is right for you.
- 1.0 - Intro, Form and Foundations. These classes are a great way to get you started, especially if you have limited or no experience with TRX, kettlebells, or the Pilates Reformer. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the program, including equipment, typical exercises involved, instructor cues, how to modify and/or progress movements, as well as high-level focus on correct form and muscle activation. You won’t stay in these classes for long - maybe two to three sessions - but they’re important. They focus on the basics - and still give you a ridiculous workout - to get you ready for higher-intensity sessions.
- 1.5 - All or Mixed Level. Our most popular and most-offered group of classes. Once you get the hang of what you’re doing, these sessions offer heart-pumping, sweat-inducing, non-stop moves for 50 minutes or more. You’ll burn calories like you’ve never seen, and instructors provide our members with modifications and variations to ensure classes remain highly personalized. Many of our clients use these as stepping stones to the intermediate and advance level, but many others have shredded pounds and inches off their waists by incorporating these as their regular routine.
- 2.0+ - Intermediate and Advanced. Hang on to your hats, folks. These classes will push you to your limit. High-intensity and built to make you stronger, faster, and more athletic, these sessions will get you to levels you’ve never seen before. Don’t worry; they’re still very accessible after several classes at the intermediate level. We don’t, however, recommend these classes for those with serious medical conditions or injuries, especially those that involve the lower back, shoulders, or knees.
